On July 1st 2021, the threshold will be reduced to £250,000 until September 30th 2021 and then from 1st October 2021, the threshold will revert to £125,000.
Stamp duty rate ranges from 2% to 12% of the purchase price, depending on the value of the property bought, the purchase date and whether you are a multiple home owner.
